Spotlight on Savalites: “Tour Du Mont Blanc”

From September 13th to September 22nd, a few of us embarked on the 10-day Tour du Mont Blanc. Covering approximately 170 km with an elevation change of around 28,000 feet, it was a challenging yet gratifying experience.

The weather was perfect for hiking in the Alps—mild temperatures, a cool breeze, and clear skies offering breathtaking views. We were treated to countless towering, cascading glacier meltwater falls and incredible vistas of alpine valleys in every shade of green. The snow-capped mountains and numerous alpine lakes—such as Lac Jovet, Lac de Champex, and Lac Blanc—added to the mesmerizing scenery.

The refuges, hotels, and huts along the way provided an incredible variety of cheeses and hearty, soul-filling food, perfect after long days of hiking. Sharing this journey with fantastic friends, full of joy and cheer every day, made it all the more special.

This multi-day hike was an unforgettable experience. The scenery was stunning and words can't do it justice. I highly recommend it to anyone who appreciates nature.

California Coast Classic Bike Tour: A Journey of Beauty and Purpose

The California Coast Classic is an annual cycling adventure covering 525 miles of California's iconic Highway 1 over eight days. Starting in San Francisco and ending in Los Angeles, this fully supported tour offers breathtaking coastal views, rolling hills, redwood forests, and charming towns.

While challenging, the ride is open to cyclists of all levels, with rest stops, mechanical assistance, and luggage transport provided. More than just a bike tour, it's a journey through one of the world's most beautiful coastlines.

A Meaningful Mission: The California Coast Classic is proudly organized by the Arthritis Foundation. Each day, after a challenging ride, we witness the incredible impact our efforts have on children suffering from rheumatoid arthritis. Their gratitude and relief from pain make every mile worthwhile.
